June 8th, 2025: Times are interesting here in America, yet they have always been perplexing for Black Americans. For us, the Black church has always been a place of comfort and activism. But some may wonder, how can praise and protest go together? Listen as Rev. Dr. James C. Perkins, Pastor Emeritus of Greater Christ Baptist stokes the fire under the church to rise up and be the change we so desperately need!
This month is our Pastor's 33rd Pastoral Anniversary month! We will we hear from various preachers from the local Detroit area that will speak on our theme, "Preaching the Unchanging Word in Uncertain Times" coming from 2 Timothy 4:1-5.
